🏡 Not Quite Closing Day… But We’re Still Smiling! ❤️

Today was supposed to be closing day for these wonderful clients, but sometimes real estate has other plans!

An unexpected issue with a solar panel payoff meant we needed a little more time before closing.

And that’s something I wish more people understood about real estate. Every transaction is different, and even with the best planning and preparation, challenges can come up.

So much of what we do as Realtors happens behind the scenes. We’re not just showing homes and writing contracts. We’re problem solvers, negotiators, advocates, and sometimes the ones reminding our clients that everything is going to be okay.

It’s not about everything going perfectly. It’s about how we handle things when they don’t.

Today, we’re working together as a team, finding solutions, staying positive, and keeping our eyes on the finish line.

And that’s why I love this picture. We’re sitting on the steps of a house that isn’t officially theirs just yet, but we’re hopeful that soon it will be the place they call HOME! ❤️

Because to us, it’s never just another transaction. It’s someone’s next chapter, and that matters.

Real estate teaches me something new every day… and today it was Irish Spring soap! 🧼😂

I was checking out a 13-acre property with three chicken houses, and the front porch definitely caught my attention. There were bars of Irish Spring hanging from the porch ceiling about every foot!

Naturally, I had to ask why. 👀

Apparently, it’s an old-school trick people use to help keep bugs and other pests away with the strong smell. No idea if it really works, but they were definitely committed to it! 😂
