A shower can use anywhere from 5 gallon per minute up to 7 gallon per minute and a kitchen faucet will use 1.5 GPM and a washing machine will use 5 GPM You can do the math based on 2 kids showering - a load of laundry going and dishes in the kitchen all at the same time. Most builders only install 1 yes just 1 tankless water heater regardless of the size and design of the home.
