Some intersections connect roads. This one connects centuries of history.

At Broad Street and Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury's Historic Four Corners tells a story that dates back generations.

The Allen House, built around 1710, once operated as the Blue Ball Tavern and served several community purposes over the years. Alongside historic churches and the Quaker Meetinghouse, it's a reminder of how much local history remains part of the landscape.

Knowing a community means understanding more than its housing market. Its history matters, too.

Have you ever explored Shrewsbury's Historic Four Corners? ⁣

Two very different price tags. One Long Branch market. 📊

September 2026 figures show a $1.499M median listing price compared to a $695K median sold price. That's a significant difference, but it doesn't automatically mean homes are selling for half their asking prices.

Oceanfront condos, residential neighborhoods, property conditions, and the mix of homes that actually close all influence these numbers.

When evaluating Long Branch real estate, I look beyond citywide averages to understand what comparable properties are really doing.

Curious how these figures relate to a specific Long Branch neighborhood? Let's talk. ⁣

Who says beach season has to end when summer does? 🌊

October brings a different kind of energy to Long Branch. Pier Village still has plenty going on, from oceanfront dining and boardwalk strolls to the upcoming Fall Festival & Pooch Parade on October 17.

Fewer summer crowds, cooler coastal air, and the same Atlantic views. It's one of those times of year that reminds you why Shore living is about more than just summer.

What's your favorite way to enjoy Long Branch in the fall? ⁣

Fall in Monmouth County has its own rhythm once beach days stop running the calendar.

October shifts some of the action toward places like Poricy Park and Croydon Hall, with community events giving residents another reason to explore Middletown beyond the Shore. It’s one of those seasonal changes that shows how much local life exists beyond the coastline.

Are you still heading to the beach in October, or have you already switched to parks and fall events? ⁣

Same October Saturday. Two completely different Monmouth County plans.

Red Bank Oktoberfest brings the downtown energy, while Poricy Park in Middletown offers a day centered around local history and open space. That variety is one of the underrated parts of living here. You can go from Broad Street activity to a historic farm setting without making a day trip out of it.

Which one sounds more like your Saturday? ⁣

Little Silver has a way of hiding pieces of its history in plain sight.

The old Post Office building once stood on Church Street before being relocated beside the library, where it now serves as the Post Office Museum. It’s a small detail, but one that says a lot about a community that has evolved without completely erasing what came before.

What’s a Little Silver landmark or story you think more people should know about? ⁣

One number can describe Monmouth County, but it cannot describe every market inside it.

The gap between countywide pricing and Sea Bright is a good reminder that coastal real estate plays by a different set of variables. Location, property type, proximity to the ocean, condition, and the immediate micro-market can dramatically change what a meaningful comparison looks like.

When you’re evaluating a Shore property, start local before you start broad. Want to compare what the numbers actually look like in a specific Monmouth County town? Let’s talk. ⁣

Town-wide numbers are useful, but they are only the starting point.

Fair Haven homes can differ significantly by lot, renovation quality, size, street, and proximity to River Road or the Navesink. That is why a median price alone rarely tells you what a particular property should be worth.

If you are buying or selling in Fair Haven, message me and we can look beyond the headline numbers. ⁣

More days on the market do not tell the whole story.

When buyers have more homes to consider, decisions can take longer even when well-positioned properties are still attracting attention. In a smaller market like Little Silver, I look beyond one number and consider inventory, pricing, condition, location, and the types of homes currently competing.

Curious how those factors affect a specific property? Send me a message and we can look at the local context. ⁣

Fall brings out a different side of Monmouth County.

As beach-season routines slow down, places like Huber Woods, Thompson Park, and Historic Longstreet Farm give locals another way to enjoy the area. Trails, changing leaves, seasonal programs, and quieter Shore towns make this a great time to experience what living here looks like beyond summer.

What is one Monmouth County spot you look forward to visiting in the fall? ⁣
