Farm to table, and back to the farm again. Last night the circle closed.

Thank you for walking Five Bridges with us — five stops, the bridge crossing at golden hour, horses in the arena with the prairie going gold behind them. Then back to the house for brisket, w**e and music on the patio until the light was gone.

You’re invited to the Five Bridges Harvest Tasting Tour — Thursday, October 22, four to seven, five stops across eighty acres of protected woods, prairie and spring-fed water.

Ch*****ne and a look through the house. An artisan cheeseboard and w**e in the arena. C***r and b**r out past the Swan Creek bridge. A tasting at the coop. Then brisket and music on the patio as the light goes.

Pouring with us in person — Hamel Family Wines, and Old Sugar Distillery. Hamel may be in Sonoma, but the family’s roots run back to Madison and the UW.
