What a frightfully good time we have here at The West Edge! It was great to see everyone that participated in our Halloween Door & Board decorating contest! We can’t wait to announce the winner tonight at the Halloween Party, so make sure you’re there! 🎃🚪👻

As a reminder, the party starts at 6pm, and will be in the 2nd floor clubroom! On top of announcing our winner for the door contest, there will also be a costume contest, so if you were on the fence about dressing up, here’s your sign to just go for it!!🧟🧙

This month, we’re excited to announce Gigi as our October Resident of the Month!

Gigi is a co-owner of a preschool right here in Madison and stays busy outside of work by spending time with her husband and their dogs, staying active, and running Yo Llama Loca with her sister! If those desserts at our coffee day event last month looked familiar, that’s because they were the talented bakers behind them!

Originally from Peru, Gigi also enjoys sharing her culture through food, and recommends Osteria Novella and Estacion Inka as two of her favorite local restaurants.

Today we’re celebrating five incredible years with our Service Manager, Cory — a teammate whose dedication, skill, and heart have shaped The West Edge in all the best ways.

Over the past year alone, Cory was recognized as a Service Team Top Performer through Village Green and earned the title of Outstanding Maintenance Associate of the Year at the AOMA Toby awards, proving once again that his commitment to excellence sets the bar high for all of us.

From keeping our community running smoothly to showing up every day with leadership and pride, Cory makes a difference that our residents and team feel deeply.

☕️ National Coffee Day was extra special yesterday — thanks to our amazing residents.
Our coffee bar was fully stocked and cozy, but the real magic came from the desserts made by Gigi and her sister Alessandra of . Their treats disappeared fast and truly made the day feel like a community celebration.
