Here’s the truth: the job hasn’t transferred until they stop coming to you for answers.

So next time your hire comes to you with a question on work you already handed off, ask them one thing: “What do you think we should do?” Let them figure it out. That’s how they grow, and that’s how you actually get your time back.

Delegation isn’t handing off tasks. It’s handing off the thinking.
