Fire and emergency services: Employees directly employed by eligible Florida fire departments, ambulance services or hospitals.

Law enforcement and public safety: Employees of qualifying law enforcement departments, correctional facilities, juvenile detention facilities and emergency operations centersโincluding eligible 911 dispatchers.

Court employees: Staff employed by county, state or federal courts, court administratorsโ offices, State Attorneyโs Offices or Public Defenderโs Offices.

Childcare employees: Staff at qualifying licensed or license-exempt childcare facilities with a Gold Seal, VPK, Head Start or School Readiness designation.

Military and veterans: Active-duty service members, plus eligible veterans and reservistsโincluding Florida National Guard membersโworking full-time for any Florida-based employer, subject to work-location requirements.
๐ก YOUR EMPLOYER MATTERSโNOT JUST YOUR JOB TITLE! Support staff may qualify, too. Only one borrower needs to meet the eligible-employer requirement.
Employment generally must be full-time at the employerโs physical Florida location. Hybrid employees may qualify; fully remote employees generally do not, with the listed Florida Virtual School teacher exception.
College and university employees, school district administrative-office employees and private law firm employees do not qualify through those employers.
