Everything was beautifully executed- as we would all expect- with the clever Ciao Miss theme, an assortment of Spritz cocktails 🍹, fun games & prizes 🥂, DELICIOUS food and, most importantly, a bride-to-be who was absolutely glowing!

There is just something so special about these moments leading up to the BIG DAY… celebrating love, friendship and all the excitement of what’s to come. 💕

BEAUTY IN THE DETAILS 🍣✨

For more than 30 years, the original Katana in North Beach has been a Miami institution—beloved for incredibly fresh fish, wonderful recipes and, of course, those little wooden boats floating plate after plate of temptation right past you.

I am so excited to share that we have Katana Coral Way just a few minutes away at 1760 Coral Way. I’ve had dinner there several times since they opened, and I can confidently say: GO!

Of course, the food is what keeps you coming back—the quality of the fish, the recipes and the execution—but Katana has always been about the experience, too.

Sitting around that flowing river, watching those colorful little plates float by… wondering what’s coming next… and grabbing whatever catches your eye. 🍣🥢 It’s interactive, fun and almost impossible not to keep reaching for just one more plate because every passing dish whets your appetite for the next one.

Sometimes the most beautiful detail isn’t something you can see on the plate. It’s the story behind it.

The new location is owned and operated by Shizuno Furya and her husband. It’s beautiful to watch this young entrepreneurial couple forge out on their own while benefiting from the wisdom, experience and stewardship of a father who built something that has truly stood the test of time. A family legacy moving into its next generation. ❤️

I love you more than words can say and am soooo proud of the woman you have become. You are ride or die for the people you love, the best stylist, my sounding board, an incredible wife and dog mom… and then there’s the amazing career you’ve built for yourself in tech. 💻✨

Strong, loyal, loving, smart, funny and fiercely devoted to your people. Watching you grow into the woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
