Today, I exercised one of the most important rights we have as Americans — the right to vote.

This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats. It’s not about left or right. It’s about our future, our families, our children, and the country we leave behind for the next generation.

We are living through important times, and the decisions we make today will help shape our tomorrow.

My message is simple: GO OUT AND VOTE! 🇺🇸

🏠 Could this help make Miami more affordable for working families?

Here’s some important news that deserves attention!

Miami has been selected as one of just 14 U.S. cities participating in a national housing initiative supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies and Accelerator for America.

💰 THE OPPORTUNITY:

Participating cities are eligible for $450,000 to $750,000 in funding and technical assistance to help improve how housing gets approved and developed.

🏗️ WHAT COULD THIS MEAN FOR MIAMI?

✅ Faster permitting and development approvals.

✅ Less bureaucracy and fewer unnecessary delays.

✅ Lower development carrying costs.

✅ More opportunities for workforce and affordable housing.

✅ Additional housing supply for our growing city.

💡 WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Miami continues attracting businesses, investment, and new residents.

But we also need housing for the people who keep our city moving—our teachers, nurses, firefighters, hospitality workers, and young professionals.

And here’s something important:

TIME IS MONEY IN REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT!

When permitting takes longer, financing and carrying costs can increase.

Making the approval process more efficient could help developers deliver housing faster and potentially reduce some of those costs.

Of course, faster permitting alone won’t solve Miami’s affordability challenges. Land prices, construction costs, and financing still matter.
