Pinnacle and Ram Realty Advisors have officially topped off Aventana, a new 334-unit apartment community in Aventura!

The milestone marks the completion of the 16-story building's structural framework, bringing the development closer to its anticipated summer 2027 opening.

Located at 19640 West Dixie Highway, near Brightline Aventura Station and Aventura Mall, Aventana will bring new housing options to the area, including 34 workforce housing units.

Future residents will have shopping, dining, and transportation close to home. The community will also feature a resort-style pool, fitness center, coworking spaces, golf simulator, and spa.

Strong communities start with thoughtful planning and housing options that meet people's needs. 🏘️

October is National Community Planning Month, a time to recognize how planning helps create more housing opportunities and supports the places people call home.

At Pinnacle, we're committed to developing communities that address a range of housing needs across South Florida.

In Fort Lauderdale, Pinnacle at Cypress will bring 196 affordable senior apartments over two phases of development. In Miami-Dade County, Pinnacle at Tropical Crossings will provide 110 more affordable homes for seniors.

In Aventura, we're partnering with Ram Realty Advisors on Aventana, a 334-unit transit-oriented apartment community that will include 34 workforce housing units, ground-floor retail space, and close proximity to the Aventura Brightline Station.

These are just a few examples of Pinnacle development across the region that serve different housing needs and meet urban planning objectives.

Pinnacle has secured financing to bring 100 new affordable senior apartments to Fort Lauderdale.

The $40.2 million investment will support Phase I of Pinnacle at Cypress, the mixed-use affordable senior housing development in Broward County.

Pinnacle at Cypress is designed to provide seniors with quality, affordable housing and spaces that support an active, connected community. The development will serve residents earning 22%, 33%, and 60% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Phase I will feature 100 one-bedroom apartments, a fitness center and cyber lounge, community room, dog walk area, and 6,525 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Rising housing costs are creating greater affordability challenges for older adults, particularly those living on fixed incomes. Expanding the supply of affordable senior apartments can give residents more options to remain in the communities they know and call home.

Pinnacle is already planning the next phase of the development. Phase II will add another 96 senior housing units, with groundbreaking expected in spring 2027. Together, the two phases will help expand the availability of affordable senior housing in Fort Lauderdale and across Broward County.

Affordable senior housing in Miramar, Florida, was worth celebrating at the South Florida Business Journal’s 2026 Structures Awards! 🥂

Pinnacle at La Cabaña was named a finalist in the Affordable Housing category. Developed in partnership with the City of Miramar, the community provides 110 affordable homes for seniors living on fixed incomes.

Our team enjoyed gathering with South Florida’s real estate community to celebrate this recognition and the people who helped make these homes possible.

142 new homes for South Miami-Dade seniors have reached the topping-off stage. 🏗️

We recently celebrated placing the final beam on Caribbean Isles, a new affordable senior housing community rising along the South Dade Busway near Caribbean Boulevard and US-1 in South Miami Heights.

This milestone marks the completion of the building's structural framework.

Once open, residents will find 90 one-bedroom and 52 two-bedroom apartments for seniors earning up to 60% AMI, along with a fitness center, computer lab, and community room, all just minutes from Zoo Miami and Southland Mall - Miami, FL with direct access to Miami-Dade's public transit.

Back in 2019, Caribbean Village delivered 123 affordable apartments to this same corner of South Miami-Dade. Caribbean Isles is now rising alongside it!

Doors open Q1 2027. 🔑

Marlins 4, Red Sox 0 – and almost the entire Pinnacle team enjoyed the win. We won’t mention the one Red Sox fan in the group 😉.

We spend our days working hard together, so it’s always fun to step away from the office and enjoy some friendly competition.

A great night at the ballpark, a big win for the Marlins, and plenty of laughs with the team made for a pretty great night.

Give it a few weeks. The Red Sox fan should be speaking to us again by then! 😂

Pinnacle is moving forward with construction of Pinnacle at Tropical Crossings, a new 110-unit affordable senior housing community in South Miami-Dade, following the closing of $41 million in financing.

The milestone is drawing coverage from The Real Deal, South Florida Business Journal, Affordable Housing Finance, and other real estate and housing publications. 🗞️

This development reinforces our commitment to delivering new-construction affordable housing in the area, following the 2024 completion of Pinnacle at Tropical Pointe, which delivered 215 affordable rental homes for families.

Why does Pinnacle at Tropical Crossings matter for South Florida?

As Miami-Dade’s senior population continues to grow, so does the need for quality, affordable housing that allows older adults to remain close to the communities they’ve called home for years. This development will help meet that need with 39 studio and 71 one-bedroom affordable apartments for residents 62 and older.

The $41 million financing represents a strong public-private collaboration:

💰 Construction and permanent financing from Bank of America and Neighborhood Lending Partners, Inc.

🏦 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity, a key source of funding for affordable housing, secured through Florida Housing Finance Corporation

🤝 Developer equity from Pinnacle to support the development
