Continuum South Beach has earned the VERIFIED™ Luxury Residences designation from Forbes Travel Guide.

For buyers, this recognition adds another layer to what makes Continuum one of South of Fifth’s most distinctive addresses. Beyond the oceanfront setting, amenities, views, and residences themselves, the designation speaks to something that is harder to capture in a listing: the experience of living there.

The recognition applies across Continuum South Beach as a whole, including the Master Association, South Tower, and North Tower, highlighting the service standards and hospitality-inspired resident experience that help define the property.

If you are considering a home at Continuum, this is worth understanding as part of the bigger picture.

Doral’s recent New York Times spotlight says something important about Miami-Dade.

The story is not just that Doral has grown. The more interesting point is that buyers are becoming more specific about the version of Miami they want. Doral offers newer housing, schools, parks, restaurants, business access, and a more complete daily lifestyle. That is a strong draw for the right buyer.

For Miami Beach, that does not weaken the story. It sharpens it.
Miami Beach is not competing to be the newest inland suburb. Its value comes from scarcity, coastal access, architecture, walkability, culture, and a lifestyle that cannot be recreated west of the airport.

As Miami-Dade grows in more directions, the difference between convenience and scarcity becomes more important. That is the real signal for Miami Beach.
Read the full blog for a closer look at what Doral’s growth says about Miami Beach and the luxury market.

This is one of the things I like about Sunset Harbour.

Maurice Gibb Memorial Park sits right on Biscayne Bay, and on any given day you’ll see kids playing, people walking their dogs, boats going by, and neighbors just using the park as part of their normal routine.

That’s really what makes Sunset Harbour work so well. You have some of the best restaurants, fitness studios and shops in Miami Beach within a few blocks, but it still feels like a neighborhood people actually live in. And having Biscayne Bay right there doesn’t hurt.

Could you see yourself living in Sunset Harbour?

Miami Spice has been extended through October 31, and that feels like a very Miami kind of good news.

The season always gives us a reason to explore the city through its restaurants, from familiar neighborhood favorites to the places everyone has been talking about. Now, select participating restaurants are keeping their Miami Spice menus available a little longer.

It’s one more month to make the reservation, try the tasting menu, meet friends for dinner, or enjoy the kind of night that reminds you why Miami’s culinary scene has become such a big part of the lifestyle here.

Real estate may be about location, but living well in Miami is also about knowing where to go, what to try, and when to say yes to another great meal.

A $30 million home sale in Miami used to be rare. That has changed dramatically.
Miami-Dade recorded 29 single-family sales of $30 million or more in 2025, and another 21 had already closed at that level in 2026 when the latest numbers were reported. Before 2020, no more than three sold in a single year.

The bigger story is not simply higher prices. There are now more buyers capable of competing for Miami’s best real estate, while the supply of prime waterfront property remains limited.

That is especially important in Miami Beach, where privacy, water frontage, views and location continue to define the strongest opportunities at the top of the market.

Miami now has more ultra-wealthy second homeowners than any other city in the world.
Approximately 13,200 people with net worths above $30 million maintain a second home in the Miami metro area, a figure that says a great deal about how the market has changed.

Miami is increasingly being used as a true second base rather than simply a seasonal escape. Buyers are spending more time here, expecting more from their residences and placing greater value on privacy, service, amenities and locations that make daily life easy.

Miami Beach remains a major part of that appeal because it offers a combination that is difficult to duplicate: waterfront living, hospitality, walkability, restaurants, culture and limited supply.

Branded residences have grown into an estimated $67 billion global market, and Miami remains one of the places where that trend is most visible.

The bigger story is what that growth says about luxury buyers. Service, privacy, design, amenities and the overall ownership experience are carrying more weight, especially for buyers who already own homes in multiple markets and are choosing properties based on how they want to live.

Miami Beach is particularly well positioned because the location already offers much of what these projects are trying to create elsewhere, including oceanfront living, hospitality, walkability, restaurants and a limited supply of prime real estate.

As more branded residences come to market, the differences between them will matter more. The strongest projects will still come down to location, quality, service, pricing and ex*****on.

Google is expanding its Miami office from about 10,000 square feet to approximately 45,000 square feet in Brickell.

The announcement follows major Miami-Dade home purchases by Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, including properties in Coconut Grove and Miami Beach.
The homes came first. The larger office followed.

That reflects a pattern we continue to see across South Florida: business leaders begin spending more time here, establish a residence and eventually bring more of their business activity with them.
In our latest blog, we look at what Google’s expansion says about Miami’s continued growth as both a place to live and a place to do business.
