Looking for a Disneyland experience this Halloween? You can’t miss Harrison Boulevard in Boise. 🎃

I walked the whole thing for you, so you can see what it’s like before you go. And if Halloween night doesn’t work for you, go any day or night this week. It is just as amazing in the daylight as it is once the lights come on, and the trees right now are unreal.

It is also so Instagram worthy. So many of these homes have photo spots set up and waiting for you.

And the best part might be the people. You end up chatting with strangers, watching kids light up at every house, and yes, even the dogs are having the time of their lives.

I walked it with Kai and his friend and loved it so much I went back and walked it again with a friend. It really is an experience.

The foliage, the pumpkins, the Halloween decorations going up. This street does fall like nowhere else in Boise.

And yes, I am one of those people who goes crazy for the foliage. The foliageee. 😂

Biltmore Co. did it again… 🏆

Four years in a row as the Parade of Homes People’s Choice winner, and walking through this one, I completely understand why.

The kitchen stopped me first. Then I found the prep kitchen hiding behind it (double ovens!), and I may have actually gasped at that primary shower.

One of the homes I was most looking forward to seeing in this year’s Parade was by Legacy Homes. At 6,642 square feet, with an additional 2,305-square-foot detached living space, it’s an extraordinary example of their work.

The craftsmanship is meticulous, the custom details are beautiful, and the home feels thoughtfully finished from one space to the next. It’s the kind of home that makes you slow down and really take it all in.

I’ve been just as impressed by the Legacy team. They’re gracious, patient, and thoughtful communicators, and that care leaves a lasting impression.

If you ever go to the Parade of Homes, make time to walk through a Legacy home. Experiencing the craftsmanship and custom details in person is something special.

Well, this is awkward if you said that out loud last week 😂

This is one of the many reasons I love living in Boise. 🥰

Every year, Preservation Idaho hosts its Heritage Homes Tour, giving us the chance to step inside some of Boise’s most beautiful historic homes and learn more about their architecture, their neighborhoods, and the people who have cared for them over the years.

This year I went with some friends, and we had so much fun walking through all of these incredible midcentury homes. One of our absolute favorites was the Atkinson House, built in 1953. And this backyard! The pool, the beautiful landscaping, and all the cute little places to sit and gather were even better in person.

The home is not for sale. It was one of the homes featured on this year’s tour. We weren’t allowed to take pictures or videos inside, but thankfully we could outside because this backyard was too amazing not to share. 😍

I love homes with history. I love the people who preserve them, and I love that I get to help people buy and sell homes with stories of their own. I also love what Preservation Idaho is doing to celebrate and protect these special pieces of our community.

If you have never been on the Heritage Homes Tour, put it on your list for next year. Grab a few friends and go. You will have so much fun, and you might just fall in love with Boise all over again. ❤️
