🔄 Did you know your ceiling fan has a "summer" and a "winter" mode? 🔄
If you haven’t flipped your blades' direction recently, you might be wasting energy and missing out on serious home comfort! Flipping that tiny switch on your fan housing or remote completely changes how air moves through your home:

☀️ SUMMER: Counterclockwise
Set your fan to spin counterclockwise at a higher speed. This pushes air straight down, creating a "wind chill" effect that can make a room feel up to 4 degrees cooler. It cools you (not the room), allowing you to give your AC a break and save up to 30% on cooling costs!

🍁 WINTER: Clockwise (Low Speed)
Set your fan to spin clockwise on the lowest setting. Since warm air naturally rises to the ceiling, this direction creates an updraft. It gently redistributes that trapped heat back down into your living space without creating a chilly breeze. It's a great way to stay cozy and save on heating bills!

🛠️ How to change it:
Turn off your fan, wait for it to stop completely, then look for the small toggle switch on the side of the motor housing. (Newer models might even let you do this directly from the remote!)

The fair is calling! Multigenerational traditions are among the things that make living in our region so special. We have two massive county fairs bringing world-class entertainment, thrilling rides and iconic fair food right to our backyard.

🎟 Georgia-Carolina State Fair
◼️ A historic Augusta staple featuring family fun, agricultural and art competitions, a massive midway of rides and every treat you can imagine.
◼️ October 16th-26th. Gates open at 4 pm on weekdays and 12 pm on weekends.

🚜 Columbia County Fall Fair
◼️ Keep the fall energy going into November! This local favorite features thrilling demolition derbies, professional bull riding, live music and classic midway games.
◼️ November 5th-15th. Gates open at 5 pm on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends.
