Real estate is tough right now, and anyone telling you otherwise needs to share whatever they’re putting in their coffee. 😂
Between mortgage rates, affordability, and an economy that has people checking their bank accounts like they’re waiting on biopsy results… buying and selling takes a little more patience these days.
Here in Georgia, I’m seeing homes sit longer, buyers take their time, and sellers wonder if their “For Sale” sign is about to qualify as a permanent yard decoration.
And agents? We’re marketing, following up, getting creative, negotiating, and occasionally having a private conversation with Jesus in the car.
But even in this SOB of a market, we’re still finding ways to make things happen. It takes honest conversations, smart pricing, strong marketing, and a willingness to adjust when something isn’t working.
We can’t control interest rates, the economy, or whether a buyer decides to “think about it” for the next three presidential administrations.
This pot in this photo and I are both a little weathered by this market, but we’re still showing up and holding it together.
So that’s what I’m doing. Showing up, putting in the work, and keeping my sense of humor because apparently yelling “JUST BUY THE DAMN HOUSE” into the universe isn’t an approved marketing strategy 🤷🏻♀️🤌😂
