Fall is one of my favorite times of year 🍂🌱

When I don’t have my real estate hat on, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll find me in my backyard garden figuring out what will—and absolutely will not—grow. 😂

One of the perks of living in Woodstock is our long growing season in Zone 8a. This fall I’m experimenting with radishes, kale, Sugar Daddy snap peas, dill, bok choy…and carrots that I’m fairly certain were planted with seeds from 1842. We’ll see. 😂

The happiest surprise? My rosemary is BLOOMING. This little plant has been transplanted three times over the last six years, watered, fed, and tucked under shelter during the coldest winter weeks. Apparently she’s happy. 🥹🌿

Gardening for me is nothing fancy—just a little backyard trial and error with zero pressure. And somehow it brings me so much joy when something actually produces.

Biggest wins this year: green beans, dahlias + tomatoes. 🍅
Biggest loss: RIP to the pumpkin plant absolutely demolished by squash bugs. 🎃🪦

Next up: homemade tomato soup and figuring out what else I can convince to grow this fall.
