Looking back at some of my favorite moments from this summer, and goodness, these are the days I want to remember forever. Time with my boys, baseball, family time, little adventures, and all the everyday moments in between.

Life with 4 boys is always busy, a little loud, and full of something going on. And I wouldn’t trade it! Being their mom is my favorite job, even if a lot of my days are spent being the family chauffeur!

I know these days won’t last forever, and I’m trying to soak them up as much as I can. Feeling thankful for our family, our community here in Pearland, and another season full of memories with my favorite boys.

Now, if someone could just explain how we are already in Fall, I’d appreciate it! 🎃

It was a special day getting to go vote with my big boys. 🤍 One of the most important things we can teach our kids is the importance of voting, staying informed, and being involved in our community. I hope they always understand that their voices matter and that voting is both a privilege and a responsibility. I want them to know how important it is to show up and do our part. ❤️🤍💙

Abilene High 🦅💛 30 YEARS!! I can’t believe it!! 30 years brings a LOT of change! We’ve grown up (maybe 😜), built careers, raised families (some have grandchildren), celebrated the good seasons, walked through hard ones, and somehow 1996 still feels like yesterday!! (well, Kinda 😂) Seeing old friends, laughing about stories from way back when (the stories people remember cracked me up!! 😆), meeting new friends, and catching up on all the life that has happened since graduation was so much FUN!

Some things I’ve learned since 1996:
• Life does not always go according to the plan, & sometimes the detours end up being the best parts of the story
• Some of the hardest seasons teach you things the easy ones never could
• The people you love are more important than the things you accomplish
•Give yourself grace!! You’re going to become many different versions of yourself throughout your life.
• Say yes to the invitation. Make the trip. Show up. Life is too short not to.
• Friendships change, seasons change, people move, but the people who are meant to stay in your life have a way of finding their way back.
• Comparison really is the thief of joy. Everyone’s timeline looks different and there is no perfect timeline.
•Gratitude changes everything

But, one of the MOST sweetest parts of this weekend was getting to celebrate alongside my mom!! She celebrated her 50th high school reunion from Abilene High too!! How special is that!?!

Thank you, Lord, for every year, every lesson, every friendship, every blessing, and every chapter that brought me here!! Cheers to 30 years, Abilene High! 🦅💛

I’ve lived in Pearland since 2006 and some things never change. The train will always stop you on 35 when you’re already running late. Fall will always mean 91 degrees and a closet full of sweaters you can’t wear yet. And Saturdays will always belong to the ballfield. I love it here and wouldn’t trade any of it! 🍐🤍

Did you know Chesmar builds in communities all over the Houston area?

I recently toured one of their model homes, and while this particular home is not for sale, it’s a great way to see what Chesmar has to offer and get a feel for the floor plans, finishes and layouts they build.

And if you’re a Pearland family who wants new construction, you don’t have to go far.

Chesmar has communities in Meridiana in Manvel and Sienna in Missouri City, both worth putting on your radar if you want to stay close to Pearland.

They also build in communities throughout Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, Conroe, Montgomery, Richmond, League City, Texas City and other areas around Houston.

One of my favorite things about touring model homes is being able to see what’s possible. Then we can look at the communities, available homesites, floor plans, pricing and options to figure out what actually makes sense for your family.

If you’re thinking about new construction, let’s talk before you walk into a model home on your own. I’m happy to help you understand your options and be in your corner throughout the process.
