🏡🎉 HAPPY CLOSING DAY, SKYLAR!! 🎉🏡

This one was fun! Not every day do I get to help one of my former students buy their FIRST HOME!
Of course, this one came with a little extra entertainment! When your property sits near a boundary line, apparently the tax records and utility companies can’t even agree on your address! We got it all straightened out, and now Skylar has a place to call her own!

🏡 BUYING A HOME? LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BUYER BROKER AGREEMENT! 🏡

Have you been asked to sign a Buyer Broker Agreement before touring a home? If so, don’t worry! This is now a standard part of the home-buying process, and we want you to understand exactly what it means.

Since August 2024, real estate agents working with buyers have generally been required to have a written Buyer Broker Agreement in place before touring homes together. This change was designed to provide greater transparency and help buyers better understand their relationship with their agent.

🔑 So, what exactly is a Buyer Broker Agreement?

It’s a written agreement that explains:

✅ Representation: Who will be representing you and looking out for your best interests.

✅ Services: What your agent will do to assist you throughout your home search, negotiations, and closing.
