The Relocation Edit

Some destinations are worth more than a visit.

If London is calling, perhaps it’s time to call it home. 🇬🇧

The Relocation Edit | London × New York

A new city. The same ambition. 🇬🇧

Building a real estate career in London has meant learning a new market, making new connections and seeing property through a different lens while bringing years of New York experience with me.

One thing hasn’t changed: I still believe real estate is about far more than property. It’s about understanding people, lifestyle and where they want their lives to go next.

That’s exactly what I’m building with The Relocation Edit, connecting the worlds of London and New York, one relationship at a time.

Inspiring

Meet the billionaire who tried to stay invisible… and ended up changing the world.
Chuck Feeney, the quiet co-founder of Duty Free Shoppers, built a global fortune — then spent most of his life secretly giving it all away.

Through his organization, Atlantic Philanthropies, he donated over $8 billion to education, public health, human rights, and peace-building efforts worldwide.
He helped build universities, funded hospitals, advanced aging research, and even supported the peace process in Northern Ireland — all without seeking recognition.

Feeney rejected luxury his entire life.
He lived in a simple rented apartment, carried his papers in a plastic bag, wore a $15 Casio watch, and always flew economy.
He believed wealth was a tool for helping people, not for elevating himself.

Warren Buffett called him “my hero.”
Bill Gates credited him for shaping the “Giving While Living” movement that inspires global philanthropy today.

He never wanted attention.
He never wanted glory.
He simply wanted to leave the world better than he found it 💙✨

No Demogorgons here - just great deals and even better homes.

Most buyers think the only way to “buy more house” is to wait for interest rates to drop. But here’s the real inside scoop:

👉 Small shifts in your loan structure, down payment strategy, or even the type of program you qualify for can make a huge difference.

I’ve seen buyers here in our market unlock an extra $30K–$50K in purchasing power just by:

💳 Paying down one monthly debt before applying
💡 Choosing a loan program with lower upfront costs
📍 Exploring neighborhoods with better property tax rates (yes, that changes affordability!)

And here’s the kicker: many of these options aren’t even on Zillow or the mortgage calculators you’re using online.

The truth? The “dream home” you’ve written off might actually be within reach—it just takes the right strategy and guidance.

Curious how this could work in today’s market? DM me if you’re curious or tag a friend who needs this reality check before they give up on their dream home!

Here’s the thing, buyers in our market aren’t just looking at square footage… they’re buying into a feeling. And nothing kills that cozy fall vibe faster than:
🍁 Dark, cluttered spaces that feel smaller than they are
🍁 Outdated seasonal décor (think fake leaves + orange everything 🙃)
🍁 Curb appeal that screams “I gave up after summer”

Studies show staged homes can sell for 6–10% more than unstaged ones. Around here, that could mean an extra $15K (or more) in your pocket. In today’s market, where buyers are competing for homes that feel truly move-in ready, that extra staging edge can make all the difference.

💡 Pro tip: focus on warm lighting, neutral fall touches (like textured throws or fresh greenery), and tidy outdoor spaces. It sets the scene so buyers instantly imagine their holidays here.

Selling this season isn’t just about listing, it’s about creating a mood buyers can’t walk away from.

It’s easy to fall for the looks of a home. The pretty kitchen backsplash, the staged living room, the curb appeal that makes you want to say “yes” right away. But just like dating, the real test is what’s underneath the surface 😉

I’ve seen buyers fall in love fast. Later they discover issues with inspections, HOA rules, or even resale potential. That’s why the smartest move is asking the right questions before you get too attached.

Think:
✨ How old is the roof and major systems?
✨ What’s happening in the neighborhood long-term?
✨ Are there any restrictions that could be deal-breakers?

These aren’t just details. They can save you thousands and help you avoid heartbreak down the road ❤️‍🩹

So yes, go ahead and crush on that dreamy open floor plan. Just don’t ignore the red flags waving in the background.

You’ve got your Pinterest board.
You’re pre-approved.
You’re watching Zillow like it’s your job. 😅

But before you tour your first home in Queens, there’s one thing most buyers skip,
📌 A real strategy session.

Here’s the thing →
The best buyers in Queens aren’t just “approved.”
They’re prepared with:

✔️ A clear game plan for what’s negotiable vs. non-negotiable
✔️ A handle on local comps + market pace
✔️ An agent who knows how to spot a win (and when to walk away)

Because in today’s market, especially around fast-moving homes, showing up unprepared = heartbreak homes and missed chances.

So if you think you’re ready to buy,
Let’s make sure you’re actually ready to compete.

This is one of the biggest moves you’ll make. You deserve to feel confident and informed every step of the way.
