🏡 First impressions sell homes. Is your curb appeal working for you?
Buyers form an opinion in the first few seconds, often before they step inside. Most online searches start with the exterior photo, so a great front of the house can be the difference between a click and a scroll-past.
Here are simple, low-cost ways to boost your curb appeal before you list:
✅ Power wash the driveway, walkways, siding, and porch
✅ Refresh the front door with a bold, clean coat of paint
✅ Mow, edge, and trim the lawn, and remove dead plants or branches
✅ Add mulch and seasonal flowers for instant color
✅ Update the details: house numbers, mailbox, porch light, and doormat
✅ Clean the windows and gutters
✅ Declutter the entry: put away hoses, bins, toys, and extra décor
✅ Check the lighting so the home looks good at dusk and in photos
💡 Pro tip: Take a photo of your home from the street and look at it like a buyer would. Whatever you notice first is probably what buyers notice, too.
Small fixes can have a big payoff, and most of these cost less than a weekend project.
