🦩💕 Sometimes, a demolition project is about more than taking down a building. Sometimes, it's about preserving the memories made inside it.

As Advanced Health & Safety continues working on the demolition of the iconic Flamingo Motel in Wisconsin Dells, we received a message that truly touched our hearts.

A gentleman reached out to Bob with a special request. He explained that he and his wife of 21 years first met at the Flamingo in 2002, where they worked together for three summers.

The Flamingo wasn't just a place they worked. It was where their love story began. ❤️

With the motel coming down, he wondered if there was any way he could save the room numbers from Room 171 as a surprise for his wife. He even offered to pay for shipping, saying that if the numbers weren't available, anything from the Flamingo would mean the world to them.

Well, we couldn't let that opportunity pass us by!

Bob and the AHS crew made sure those numbers were saved! 🦩

We recently received this photo of Room 171's numbers proudly displayed in their home, along with a heartfelt thank-you.

For us, this was a wonderful reminder that while buildings may come down, the memories and stories connected to them live on.

We're proud that Advanced Health & Safety could help preserve a little piece of the Flamingo's history—and a very special love story.

🌧️ With all this rain, has your basement stayed dry?

Wet basements, roof leaks, and damp walls are how mold gets started, and it often grows where you can't see it.

One Madison homeowner noticed a musty smell, discoloration on the walls, and allergy symptoms that wouldn't go away. They had already called more than half a dozen companies before reaching out to us.

Our certified mold inspector, Brady, spotted what everyone else missed: a basement wall panel system that no one had looked behind. When the panels came off, the mold was right where he suspected. He recommended checking a second paneled area too, and found mold there as well.

Two of our crews, led by Julian and Luis, handled the remediation. When the homeowner had a follow-up question, our owner, Bob Stigsell, called them back personally within moments.

The homeowner told us that if they'd hired anyone else, they would have spent thousands treating the symptoms without ever fixing the source.
