📈 Buyers are starting to stir again.
U.S. mortgage applications rose 3.4% last week — the first weekly increase in nearly eight weeks — as the average 30-year rate eased to 7.37%, down from 7.41% and its lowest in three weeks. Purchase applications were up 4% from the week before.
It doesn't mean the market has turned — applications are still 18% below a year ago. But after weeks of buyers sitting out, a little rate relief is bringing some back.
If you've been waiting on the sidelines in Warren, Troy, or Sterling Heights, this is the kind of shift worth watching. Message me and I'll walk you through what it means for your move.
