Lake Rescue Chalet is a 6-bedroom vacation rental with a private dock and boats, near Okemo Resort. Six bedrooms. It's a four-season delight!

This house has it all – a glorious outdoor hot tub to sink into on a cool summer evening or after a frigid ski day. Two beautiful kitchens, two living rooms and two dining rooms. Plenty of room for your group of family or friends! Lake Rescue Chalet sleeps 12 people on two levels that feature three bedrooms apiece. Upstairs and down are connected by a wrought-iron spiral staircase, and each level has its own lovely bathroom, gas fireplace, and flat-screen TV. It's a terrific home for families and friends who want to spend time together but also cherish their privacy. In spring and summer, your group has exclusive use of a canoe and two kayaks at our private dock 2 minutes walk down a dirt road -- as well as swimming, fishing, birdwatching, sunbathing, or just relaxing! Barbecue on the huge front deck, watch the great blue herons, the loons or the bald eagles that live just over the ridge, play volleyball in the large yard, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, relax on the porch swing, nap in a hammock in the woods, go hiking, take the family on a picnic, or go road or mountain biking. At night, watch the stars while relaxing in the hot tub on the back deck. Combine the great warm-weather activities at Lake Rescue Chalet with incredible leaf-peeping in the fall, awesome winter sports experiences, and Vermont exploring in the undiscovered springtime months, and you have an unparalleled experience! We run a welcoming establishment, LGBTQ-friendly, committed to inclusiveness and nondiscrimination. We even welcome animals!

We refaced the upstairs kitchen. It was all just too much knotty pine. How do you like it?

It's amazing what new flooring and a change-out in furniture can do to open up a space. Our downstairs living room is so appealing now!

We took the foliage train from Okemo on the peak weekend! Nothing beats Vermont colors in the fall. And this year is particularly good.

Check out the new rock-walled patio behind the deck, where we leveled out the hill by the house! It will be a nice place to sit and have a drink or a cuppa Joe.

Lake Rescue Chalet has a new deck, bigger and better than ever! What do you think?

PHASE 1: The side of the deck and stairs come down to make way for the addition!

This is BEFORE. Lake Rescue Chalet is about to get a new look!

Traveling cats on their way to Puerto Rico. Bad news for them: TSA seized our cat litter, which tested positive for something dangerous. So the cats are going to have to hold it for a long time!

Come on, the mountain is waiting and the snow is fantastic!
