We miss you more than you know. We’re doing our absolute best to move forward without you, but it’s tough. Nothing takes away the sadness and grief of not having you here.

I’m reminded of you daily. Sometimes it’s when I catch myself saying something you used to say, when I come across something that reminds me of you, or in those quiet moments when I realize I can’t just pick up the phone and call you anymore.

I miss anticipating your hugs and kisses, along with that little tickle from your mustache. I miss your voice, all your jokes, and the way you made life so much fun. No matter what was happening, we could always count on you for a good laugh. You were always a vibe, and you always will be. 💙

More than anything, I’m grateful for all the things you poured into me—the love, faith, joy, and lessons that I now get to carry with me in your absence. What a gift it was to have you as my dad.
