Our Sustainability Committee had a fantastic tour of 2CAL in DTLA! 🌿🏙️
The 2CAL team showed us what long-term work on building sustainability can achieve:

✅ LEED Platinum since 2018, recently recertified Fitwel 1 Star, WiredScore Platinum, and UL Healthy Building certified
⚡ 57% less energy use than the national median
📉 56% less energy use than in 1995 and 17% less than in 2020, even as occupancy has increased each year

2CAL has also participated in LADWP’s Demand Response Program for years, helping reduce peak electricity demand. And here’s a sweet touch: building management serves complimentary ice cream to thank tenants for doing their part on Demand Response days! 🍦
