When we started Cafe Nido, we didn’t have enough money for a lease or build-out. So we asked a nightclub if we could use their space during the day.
That first pop-up did over $1M in sales.
Since then, I’ve run Cafe Nido inside a nightclub, restaurant, and a bar - and I’ve learned (mostly the hard way) what it takes to open up (and operate) a coffee business.
So I’m opening up 2-3 spots to work with people one-on-one who want to:
☕️ open up a coffee shop or pop-up
☕️ launch inside an existing space (bar, restaurant, retail)
☕️ figure out menu, equipment, staffing, and pricing

Thank you to and for an amazing trip to Peru and the unforgettable experience of meeting some of the coffee producers and exporters who make the exceptional coffeee we use at .la

What a week. LAX-LIMA-CHICLAYO-JAEN, and back again. Shout out to the amazing folks I met along the way including .coffee.lab and so many more.

My mind has been blown at how much work goes into me being able to drink 7 cups of coffee a day, and for .la to sell hundreds. I already knew how much goes into running a cafe, but seeing the whole process from seed to cup has been enlightening to say the least.

The journey continues! 🚀 ☕️
