And here’s the truth: an accepted offer is exciting, but it doesn’t guarantee a closing.

Thank youuu babyyy! 😂 I joke, but I won’t tell a lie—trauma will definitely give you dark humor. Sometimes you gotta find something funny!

I’ll share a quick experience from this year to explain why I’m so grateful for referrals.

I vetted a buyer I didn’t know, and everything checked out—including contact with a reputable lender. But something felt OFF.

I showed him a few properties while my husband followed me for safety. At multiple showings, I noticed attempts to get me within his personal space or walk in front of him. I stayed alert and kept my distance.

Afterward, he wanted to submit an offer, then rescinded it and asked me to show more properties. Absolutely not.

I dug deeper and discovered he was a violent s*x offender.

Moral of the story: REALTORS—women AND men—please stay safe out here. 🙏🏾

Yes, I had my 🔫, but GOD was my protector and the reason I made it home to my family.

And THIS is why I appreciate every single client who trusts me enough to refer me to someone they know. ❤️
