Sometimes meal prepping chicken after a long day helps you put parts of life into perspective.

As the great Brian Mazza always says “nothing changes if nothing changes.”

It’s easy to pick the temporary enjoyment over harder path. I think we need to start reminding ourselves that delayed gratification is where it’s at.

Funny thing about finding a home…

Hard to believe it’s been 25 years since the attacks on American lives on September 11th. I’ve been getting into art lately and felt compelled to draw the original Twin Towers and reflect on life. I pray for those who lost their lives that day and the families affected to this day.

Remember to love your neighbor. The world needs more kindness.

There is still time to register for a spot on the Starved Rock Rally with the Anthony Smith and to purchase tickets for the car show after at Skydive Chicago. This is the first time we have done a cruise outside of a Cars + Coffee event, so this will be a limited spot cruise. As much as I love the cars and coffee format, I’ve always wanted to do something where we get to enjoy our cars the way they are intended to be used.

You can register for the rally or purchase car show tickets using the QR codes on the last slide or send me a message and I will send you the links. Registration for the rally is not a guaranteed entry, but we will do our best to accommodate. All makes and models welcome, as well as, our beloved motorcycle community.

We will be meeting at Roosty’s Chicken n Shakes in Ottawa for lunch in between the rally and the car show for those who are interested. Roosty’s was created by a beloved New Lenox Cars + Coffee member. Let’s make sure to show them some love.
