As we wrap up our Halloween fun, Charlotte and Elizabeth have one final message: Have a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween, but remember that safety is the sweetest treat of all!

A few reminders to keep your little trick-or-treaters safe tonight:

For the little ghosts and goblins: Wear bright costumes or carry glow sticks and flashlights so drivers can see you. Make sure costumes fit properly to prevent tripping, stay on sidewalks, and always cross streets at crosswalks. Never enter a stranger's home, and let Mom or Dad check your treats before digging in!

For Mom and Dad: Keep younger children close, remind older children to travel in groups, and establish a safe route and return time. Put those phones away while crossing streets, watch for cars backing out of driveways, and remember that excited little monsters don't always look before running!

For homeowners: Keep walkways well-lit, remove tripping hazards, and make sure decorations and extension cords don't create obstacles for visitors.
