Earlier this month, we helped our sellers close on their home at 116 Maple Lane. But this sale came with an important reminder about navigating a changing real estate market.

When this home first hit the market, buyer activity was beginning to shift. Showings were slowing down, homes were taking longer to sell, and buyers were approaching offers with different expectations than we had seen earlier in the year.

For sellers, that can be frustrating — especially when the market looks different from what they expected when they started planning their move.

Throughout the listing, we had ongoing conversations about what was happening around us. Were comparable homes going under contract? Were other sellers adjusting their prices? How was buyer activity changing?

Sometimes those conversations lead to a pricing adjustment. Other times, the right decision is to give the market more time.

🎃 Halloween fun is officially underway!

We had a great time getting into the Halloween spirit at Trunk-or-Treat the other night! 💛 And yes, the Minion costumes were a lot of fun!

A little update from our rebuild…

It's been a while since we've shared much from the building, but work continues behind the scenes.

Right now, framing, electrical and a lot of the behind-the-walls work is underway in what will eventually become one of the new office spaces.

This rebuild has been a long process, and we're still a long way from finished. There are plenty of decisions ahead — flooring, finishes, the kitchen, office details and all of the pieces that will eventually make these spaces functional again.

For now, we're taking it one stage at a time. The plans we've been looking at on paper are slowly starting to become actual rooms.
