Being a part of the Lebanon community for nearly 90 years is such an honor. We look forward to many more!

Walking tours of downtown Lebanon bring Funk Construction employees together to trade stories about the projects the family firm has built over nearly nine decades.

Continued progress at Cornwall Manor Retirement Community! 🏗️ Work is moving forward on the Woods Campus Apartment Building, bringing 36 new senior living apartments closer to completion.

Situated next to The Clubhouse on Cornwall Manor’s scenic, wooded campus, the building will offer spacious homes in a welcoming community.

Our longstanding partnership with Cornwall Manor makes it especially rewarding to help shape its next chapter. We’re proud to continue building spaces that future residents will call home.

Who doesn't love cake? 🎂 This month, we're celebrating team members born in October — thank you for the dedication, hard work, and craftsmanship you bring to Funk Construction! Happy birthday to our October crew! 🎉

Our annual October staff meeting looked a little different this year; we traded the indoor meeting for Gretna Glen! 🌲 The day was all about team building and fellowship, giving our crew a chance to reconnect, learn how to work even better together, and enjoy some fresh air, too.

We say it often, but it's worth repeating: our team is the heart of everything we do. Without every person, we simply couldn't serve our clients and communities the way we do. Thank you to our incredible team for making it such a great day!

This October, we're celebrating team members marking incredible work anniversaries—from 2 years all the way up to 36! 🎉

Every milestone represents years of dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment to building purposeful spaces for the communities we serve. Thank you for being part of the Funk Construction story.

Here's to many more years of connecting, collaborating, and constructing together!

Last week, our administrative coordinator, Tammy Calloway, and apprentice, Julia McCartney, connected with students at BIA Building Futures: Construction Career Day to share their experiences and offer a firsthand look at working in the industry!

During Careers in Construction Month, we’re proud to highlight opportunities in the trades and help students envision a future in construction. Training and mentoring the next generation of builders is more important than ever and we’re excited to be part of that mission!

Earlier this week, our Funk Construction team had the privilege of volunteering with the Power Packs Project in Lebanon! 🙌 We packed over 400 dinners for local families with school-aged children, and it was a truly rewarding experience.

We're grateful for the chance to support Power Packs in their mission to provide weekly meals for our neighbors in need. ❤️.

We’re looking forward to the LeadingAge PA Fall Finance Conference this week at Spooky Nook!

As long-time advocates for senior living and continuing care retirement communities, we value the relationships we’ve built within the industry and remain committed to learning, growing, and staying informed about the issues that matter most to our clients.

Funk Construction will be exhibiting throughout the conference - stop by and say hello to Jessica Kosoff, VP of Construction! 👋🏽

October is Careers in Construction Month! 🔨 A lot of people in this industry didn't set out to build for a living. A shop class, a family member in the trades, or a summer job just stuck and turned into a career.

Right now, the trades need carpenters, electricians, equipment operators, estimators, project managers, and plenty of others who haven't discovered this work yet. If you know someone who likes making things with their hands, tell them construction is worth a look.

At Funk Construction, we're always glad to talk with people interested in exploring a career in construction.
