Will y’all please say a prayer for the families staying with us who have evacuated from the hurricane?

Some packed up their children, pets, and whatever they could grab in about an hour and left everything else behind. Many left without a plan, figuring out where to go along the drive. I’m so sentimental, I can’t imagine trying to decide what to bring and what to leave or the worry that comes with it.

They didn’t end up in Laurel for a vacation or to see Hometown. They came because they needed somewhere safe. My hope is that while they’re here, they can rest, take a deep breath, and feel at least a little bit at home while they wait for this storm to pass.

Please pray for calm nerves, protected homes, safe travels, and peace in all the uncertainty.

Jesus, be with these families. Help them feel Your presence as they wait, watch, and worry. We can’t make the storm pass any faster, but we can offer a safe place to land and a little love while it does. ❤️

❤️ Look who stopped by on their way back to Texas 🤠

We love welcoming guests from all over the country, and this sweet family had to make a stop on the way home from the beach!

I try really hard to post on here often but I stay so busy trying to make the guest feel welcome and accommodate all their wants and needs that I fall short here. I try really hard to keep this page updated and I find myself lacking mostly because I am so busy trying to keep all my guest happy and meet all their needs while they are here. So if I am lacking please know it is not that I just not doing it, I am a hands on host and I only got two. Barclay and I pride ourselves in being available to you future guest and present in town guest. It was recently brought to my attention that I have not posted anything here in a while. My apologies I have been so busy and often post on Laurel Miss trips and tips and on my personal page and forget this one. I promise to do better...
