Some transactions stay with you a little longer than others.
709 Evergreen was one of those.
After working on this property for more than a year, there were definitely moments when it would have been easier to walk away. But when you’re representing a client, “complicated” doesn’t mean “give up.”
There were plenty of phone calls, emails, follow-ups, negotiations, paperwork, and conversations that most people never see. We kept working through every roadblock and, eventually, we had multiple offers and got the property under contract.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t get one of the mortgage companies to agree to the terms needed to move forward.
It wasn’t the outcome we wanted, but I’m sharing this because real estate isn’t always a highlight reel of closings. Sometimes, it’s about the work you put in when things don’t go according to plan.
I’m proud of how hard we fought for this one, and even more grateful for the trust my clients placed in me throughout the process.
The closing may not have happened, but the effort, persistence, and commitment behind the scenes were very real. Every transaction teaches us something, and this one was a reminder that doing everything you can for your clients is what truly matters.
On to the next opportunity, and always moving forward.
