We had a great experience working with our home inspector, Mark, for our recent home inspection. He was extremely thorough, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.

He took the time to carefully inspect the house from top to bottom, including the attic, basement, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and other important areas. What we appreciated most was that he didn’t just point out issues—he took the time to explain what he found, why it mattered, and what we should keep an eye on as potential homeowners.

Mark was also very patient and welcoming with our questions. We never felt rushed, and his attention to detail gave us a much better understanding of the condition of the property and what to expect going forward.

Buying a home can be stressful, especially when it comes to the inspection, but Mark made the process much easier and gave us confidence in making an informed decision. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough, honest, and professional home inspector.

Hire an inspector with 25 years of experience instead of one with 5 years of experience. After reviewing a recent report written by this newly licensed inspector, I noticed several errors and obvious flaws that he overlooked. Including not reporting a staircase that requires a handrail, quoting incorrect measurements for a staircase tread and rise, reporting that the heating system was 43 years old and should be replaced, when it was actually only 15 years old with plenty of life expectancy left.

This chimney is lacking a crown. This condition couldn't be observed from the ground surface. Using my drone made it very visible.

Deteriorated caulk on the exterior service conductor will typically allow moisture to pe*****te into the electrical panel box.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
We recently worked with Mark at Pinnacle Inspection Service. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did Mark do a thorough job on our home inspection and report, he provided helpful advice on the noted repairs needed for our home. As first time home buyers we valued Mark's professionalism and guidance through the home inspection process. We would highly recommend Mark to anyone in need of a home inspection.

This is why pointed screws are not permitted to fasten an electrical panel box cover!!
