Sometimes, something you hear stays with you long after the conversation is over.
This morning, on my way to work, I was listening to Tony Robbins, and he said something that made me question what I've learned through my own life experiences.
Can you really change someone who doesn't want to change?
Over the years, I've learned that you can encourage someone, believe in them, support them, and give them every reason to do things differently.
But I've also learned that wanting something for someone doesn't mean they want it for themselves.
And sometimes, that's the hardest part to accept. Especially when you care about that person.
Maybe we can influence people. Maybe we can inspire them. But can we actually change them?
I'm curious what you think. Does real change come from having enough reasons, or does it have to come from within?
