Palm Beach, Florida, is rapidly becoming a major destination for America’s wealthy elite, technology companies, and Wall Street executives, earning the nickname “Silicon Valley South.” The region is attracting billionaires and businesses seeking lower taxes, a favorable business environment, and luxury living.

Palm Beach and the broader South Florida region have attracted several prominent billionaires, including Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, Citadel founder Ken Griffin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and real estate billionaire Stephen Ross. The influx of wealthy investors and business executives has helped transform the region into a growing center for finance, technology, and luxury real estate.

Other notable arrivals include Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, who have purchased South Florida properties or moved business operations to the region.

According to Fox News California-based software company ServiceNow announced plans to establish an artificial intelligence institute and innovation hub in West Palm Beach, a project expected to generate $1.8 billion in economic impact and more than 850 jobs over five years. The company’s planned office space is part of a development by billionaire Stephen Ross. Palm Beach County’s population has also grown 5.6% since 2020, reaching approximately 1.58 million residents in 2025.

170 have closed since January, compared with 169 across all of last year, and the county is projected to finish at 255.

Inventory has tightened over the same period, with active listings down 20.1% year over year and declining for seven consecutive months. Mortgage rates rose from 6.67% in August to 7.17% by mid September without slowing volume. West Palm Beach currently leads the country in luxury sales growth at 43.9%, while Miami leads in price appreciation at 18%.

This birthday has made me realize that life isn’t measured by the years we live, but by the people we share those years with. I have been blessed beyond words.Last night was a dream. Celebrating life and love with my family, friends and the love of my life Barry Bekkedam I am truly blessed to have real friends good health, a beautiful granddaughter, 6 children and my mom still with me.
