BIG NEWS FOR MIDDLEBURG!

Another major commercial development could be coming to Clay County!

A proposed development along Blanding Boulevard near Gregory B. Clary Way in Middleburg includes a 106,371-square-foot wholesale club, along with three additional commercial outparcels totaling approximately 3.5 acres.

The proposed site plan shows a large wholesale shopping facility, extensive parking, and additional space for future businesses.

The big question: Which wholesale club is coming?

Could Middleburg be getting a Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale Club, or something else?

At this point, the site plan identifies the development as a wholesale club, but does not name the retailer. The project is still in the proposal stage.

Clay County continues to experience significant residential and commercial growth. Developments like this could bring additional shopping opportunities, jobs, and economic activity to our community.

Of course, with more development comes the question of additional traffic along Blanding Boulevard.
