Born in Cielo Cepeda in Bogota, Colombia and given up for adoption to the FANA Orphanage in January 1977. Sara was adopted that same year and was brought to the United States at three months old to be raised in Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens. At the age of 36, she embarked on a journey to find her biological mother. She searched the internet and, with the help of a colleague, was able to locate her on Facebook but found that no one knew of Sara’s existence. Her biological mother had given birth as a teenager and was told Sara did not survive and had no idea Sara was alive which created confusion and aroused strong emotions for all. Sara eventually reunited with her family in Colombia. That reunion not only changed her life but gave her purpose. It inspired Sara to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. This is why she started Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child Foundation and remains committed to life and wellness coaching.

My best friend was visiting from Charlotte, NC, so of course we had to make time for a local coffee stop! 🥰
We stopped by Don Carvajal Café in Irvington, NY ☕️, grabbed our drinks, and sat outside enjoying the day, catching up, laughing, and spending some much-needed time together. 🌿☀️💕
One of the things I love about Westchester is discovering and supporting our local coffee shops and small businesses—and it’s even better when I get to share them with one of my favorite people. ❤️

One of my longtime favorites, Boro6 W**e Bar in Hastings-on-Hudson, is a Michelin-recognized gem! I've been coming here since they first opened. Fun fact: I was their very first Yelp reviewer! 😊
This visit was extra special. I gathered with close friends to celebrate life and honor the memory of one friend's father, who recently passed away.
Over delicious food, wonderful w**e, laughter, and heartfelt conversations, we were reminded how precious life and friendship truly are. ❤️
The most touching moment? Juan, our wonderful waiter, surprised us with a cake and candle in honor of our friend's father. 🕯️❤️
A beautiful gesture we'll never forget. Thank you, Juan and Boro6, for making this afternoon so meaningful!
