As winter approaches, we're preparing the Shelter to be a warm, welcoming place of refuge for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. After a busy year filled with construction projects, we still have some extra cleaning, organizing, and setup work to do before opening for the season.

If you can spare a few hours, we'd love to have you join us and make a real difference in our community. Check out the details in the graphic below and sign up to help!

What an incredible day of service! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who showed up ready to work and made a tremendous impact on our shelter today.

Together, we power washed cots, swept and mopped floors, deep cleaned and sanitized refrigerators, freezers, washers, and dryers, organized and inventoried clothing donations, and tackled countless other projects. We were also able to donate a truck load full of items to Mary’s Clothes Closet and another truck load to The Main Place to share with the community.

We sweated, got dirty, worked muscles we forgot we had, and put plenty of elbow grease into every task. The results were absolutely worth it!

A very special shout-out goes to a remarkable young volunteer who donated **1,000 individual medical/first-aid kits**. This sweet teenager has a true passion for helping others, and their generosity and compassion are an inspiration to us all. 💙

Days like today remind us that a community comes together one act of kindness at a time. Every volunteer, every donation, and every hour of service helps us provide comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, pitching in, and making a difference. We couldn't do this without you!

Watch for additional work days in the coming weeks. We still have work to do.

🙏💕

Tonight was a wonderful reminder of the power of community at the Many Helping Hands ministry Annual Soup Fundraiser. ❤️

The LCHA (IrvingHomeless.com) table was honored to be represented by Board Treasurer Jana Bell and husband Scott, volunteers Rusty and Brenda Brown, Nancy Young, and Directors April and Dane Sanderson as we joined others in supporting the incredible work of Many Helping Hands Ministry.

We were blessed to visit and connect with many amazing friends, volunteers, and community leaders who share a heart for serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness. God's work is evident through this ministry as lives are being changed every day.

This North Texas Giving Day, you can help save lives.

When temperatures drop, our neighbors experiencing homelessness need more than a place to sleep. They need warmth, safety, nourishing meals, clean clothing, showers, laundry services, compassionate care, and hope for a brighter future.

At LifeChange Housing Associates, we provide emergency winter shelter and surround our guests with dignity, respect, and support while helping them take steps toward stable housing.

Every gift helps provide shelter, warmth, meals, and compassion during the most challenging months of the year.

Join us on September 17 for North Texas Giving Day and help us make a life-changing difference.
