Fun Fact Friday 🎉

It's finally starting to feel like Autumn here in the Midlands! And these cooler temps are making us want to cozy up in a coffee shop with a hot cup of coffee! We love a good hole in the wall coffee shop where we can set up and get some work done. We live in the Avenues and have an amazing coffee shop just blocks away that we can walk (or drive our golf cart) to!

So for this fun fact Friday we thought we'd share our go to order at a coffee shop. Usually we're either doing a basic latte or flat white with breve, and then we'll add a little stevia to sweeten it. Also, the temperature outside will determine if we go hot or iced. But, if we're wanting a treat (and not worrying about sugar and calories!), then we may go for a vanilla sweet cream cold brew, and of course during this time of year, a pumpkin flavored latte always hits the spot!

Some real estate deals are extra special, and this was one of those. This sweet couple are dear friends of ours, which made it even harder helping them sell their home and say goodbye. Sadly, we didn't even get to celebrate the closing together in person (or get a current closing picture...this picture is from 4 years ago when they bought the house...and yes, we photoshopped it to say 'sold'). They had already moved for a job opportunity, so they did the closing remotely. This couple put a lot of faith in us when we suggested the extra building in the backyard of this house, which already had water, plumbing, and power, could be converted into a guest house and rented out. They followed our advice and ended up having an income producing unit which helped offset their mortgage. Thanks for trusting us! We'll miss you Howard family!

Fun Fact Friday 🎉

Sticking with the theme of made by hand. Hart has a secret skill of building treehouses! He built ones at our previous and current homes. They included slides, climbing ladders, rock walls, trap doors and secret doors. One also had monkey bars and an epic zip line, and the other had a fireman pole. But before you start thinking to yourself “maybe I could hire Hart to build a treehouse” we must inform you that unfortunately he is not for hire…unless you’re willing to pay a ton and wait months and months and months for him to finish it, haha!
