Our Employee Superhero of the Week is Mary Burk!
As many of you know, she is retiring and her last day will be tomorrow. While it is difficult to imagine our company without her, we are excited for her as she begins a well-earned retirement after 21 years of dedicated service.
Mary's journey with our company is truly inspiring. She began her career cleaning units, then stepped into a property management role, and ultimately transitioned to our corporate office where she became an essential part of the Compliance Department.
For 21 years, Mary has embodied what it means to be a superhero at our company. She has shared her knowledge, supported her coworkers, solved problems, and helped guide countless employees along the way. Her impact reaches far beyond Compliance and can be felt throughout our entire organization.
The Compliance Department will not be the same without her, and neither will the company. While we know she has earned every moment of relaxation that retirement will bring, we will certainly miss seeing her each day.
Please join me in congratulating Mary on her retirement and thanking her for her remarkable 21 years of service.

What they don't always see are the countless challenges, difficult conversations, resident concerns, emergencies, and unexpected situations that you navigate every single day. The truth is that you wear more hats than most people realize. As we travel to properties and work alongside you, we see firsthand what you deal with and the professionalism, patience, and compassion you bring to every situation. We hear the stories. We witness the challenges. And time and time again, we walk away impressed by your strength, resilience, and dedication. There are days when the work is hard. There are days when the wins may seem small compared to the obstacles. But please know that what you do matters. When Mary first started out over two decades ago as a property manager, she was right on the front lines. On-site property management is a wild ride. It takes a part-time diplomat, a part-time detective, and a full-time miracle worker. Mary handled the absolute chaos of daily tenant life—from leaky pipes to midnight emergencies—with unmatched strength, patience, and her legendary sense of humor.
But because Mary excels at bringing order to chaos, she eventually moved up from the properties to the corporate office, spending the ending years of her career as a vital member of our compliance team.
Going into corporate compliance means Mary went from managing tenant drama to managing audit drama. She became our eagle eye, diving deep into files, regulations, and endless paperwork to ensure Green Companies was always perfectly up to code. She was the shield who kept us safe from inspectors, the voice of reason in the office, and the ultimate expert who knew every rule inside and out.
Mary, after 21 years of keeping everyone else in line, your contract with the workforce is officially fulfilled. Starting next week, you don't have to audit a single thing unless it's the view from a beach chair or the menu at a restaurant. Your only corporate mandate now is to relax.

Today we would like to recognize our entire "superhero" team🧨🎉I wanted to share some great feedback we received from one of our syndication partners regarding the properties they oversee(Chouteau, Duncan, Inola, Kellyville, Lexington, Maysville, Meeker, Pauls Valley, Wellston).
