In nearly 1,000 inspections, I’ve only had to include a statement like this two or three times.

Today was one of those rare inspections. Ten major damage, health, and safety concerns had been documented when the client chose to stop the inspection early.

During today’s new-build inspection, we found a hole in the bathtub. It’s a detail that could easily be missed in the excitement of a brand-new home, but one the buyer can now bring to the builder’s attention.

Moisture stains are easy to overlook—but they can be an early sign that something needs attention.

During this inspection, I found moisture staining on garage walls along with visible growth at a wall joint.

If you notice staining, peeling, musty odors, or visible growth - act promptly. Finding and addressing the moisture source early can help reduce the chance of more extensive damage and ongoing moisture-related problems.

Both our daughter’s and our son’s teams won their state tournament championships today. Coaching soccer is one of my favorite things, and I’m so blessed to get to do it. What a day for our Thunder family! 💙💛
