Perspective: Yes... homes are taking longer to sell overall in the Greater Houston Area, BUT there are STILL many occasions where homes ARE selling quickly, within a few days (5 - 15 days) of coming on the market. The key is to have the home properly prepared and priced accurately.

Houston recorded 66,930 single-family home sales through September, down 0.8% from 2025.

With prices averaging $331K and listings near record highs at 41,300, buyers have more options despite 7% mortgage rates.
