So I met this family recently when they inquired about one of my listings that I had which quickly turned into an offer where I was the intermediary for the transaction. Unfortunately, that transaction did not go very far as the seller accepted a different offer. I was disappointed, as were the buyers, but I started looking for other homes in the area similar to this one and within a few days we were under contract on a different home. That initial misfortunate situation ended in the listing and sale of their primary home and the purchase of another one in just a very short time. Not only did I get to represent this family on 2 deals but I made new friends in the process which is my ultimate goal in a transaction.
