🐴💗 Kip’s First New England Horse Show! | October 11, 2026

What a wonderful day at the Sunrise Horse Show!

Kip had his very first show in Massachusetts with me, and I couldn’t be prouder of him. He started the day a little anxious, but it didn’t take long for him to settle in, adapt to his surroundings, and show us what he’s capable of.

🏆 Our accomplishments:

* 🥇 1st Place: Beginner Halter
* 🥇 1st Place: Breast Cancer Awareness Equitation
* 🥈 2nd Place ribbon
* 🥉 Several 3rd Place ribbons

We definitely discovered a few things to work on! Kip has a little more speed in his Western Pleasure jog than we’d like, but that’s all part of the journey. Every ride is an opportunity to learn, improve, and build confidence together.

What makes me happiest isn’t the ribbons. It’s watching Kip grow, seeing him overcome his initial nerves, and realizing how much potential we have as a team.

This show was especially meaningful because I rode in honor of Kali during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀💗

A wonderful first show, a few lessons learned, and plenty of reasons to keep working toward next season.

I’m so proud of this boy and excited for everything ahead of us! 🐴💕

Beautiful pictures from such a wonderful day. The event was a great success, and we are so grateful for the people we were able to share it with.

We hope even more people will join us next year and help this event continue to grow. Supporting the community you live in, reaching out to others, and creating a place where people feel welcome is simply part of being a good neighbor. ❤️

A special thank you to Father Kingsley for encouraging us, supporting us, and helping bring people together in such a meaningful way.

Cathy, thank you so much for volunteering and for bringing your artistic talents back to share with our community. Years ago, you shared those gifts at Walt Disney World, creating beautiful portraits for park guests, and it was such a treat to see that creativity come alive again. Thank you as well for bringing your artist sister to lead crafts and add even more fun and creativity to the day.

A huge thank you to Lindsay and Sebastian from Fireflies Fields for bringing their amazing petting zoo and, of course, the wonderful Waffles the pony. 🐴 The animals brought so many smiles and gave families such a special experience.

The Ice Cream Emergency Truck provided free dessert for the community, sponsored by our event hosts, Dr. Jonathan Bayuk and Mrs. Tiffany Bayuk. 🍦

Dan and George were incredible, setting up the grill and cooking lunch for attendees so everyone could enjoy free food together.

We also had so many fun activities throughout the day, including juggling lessons, crafts, and fantastic face painting by Silly Cindy. 🎨

And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped with set-up, clean-up, and all the little jobs in between. Every bit of help matters, and events like this truly take a community effort.

That is what community is all about: people giving their time, talents, and resources so others can come together, enjoy the day, and feel welcome.

Community grows when people show up for one another.

🐴🌿 Trail Adventure!

Our newest member of the herd, Kip, AKA Han Solo, had his first end-of-summer outing on the trails, and he did fantastic!

For his first adventure out in the great outdoors, Kip was calm, curious, and comfortable enough to even take the lead. 🤎 It was such a great experience getting our feet wet and seeing his confidence grow along the way.

A big thank you to Kenzi and Dezi for trailing along with us and making Kip’s first trip such a positive one.

First trail ride officially in the books. I have a feeling there are many more adventures ahead for Han Solo. 🐴🍂🌲
