Today, let’s take a moment to thank all of the incredible first responders who show up every single day to serve and protect their communities.

The long hours, missed holidays, time away from family, and sacrifices you make do not go unnoticed. We appreciate all that you do, and we are grateful for the difference you make in the lives of so many.

And to the families behind our first responders, thank you for the sacrifices you make, too.

Never know what you are going to find a friend and some neat history. The "Cherry Reds": This specific line—branded distinctly as "Cherry Reds"—was prized for its rich color and exceptional durability. Bricks from the Whiteselle yards were used extensively for commercial buildings, public works, and street pavers (many Texas towns, including Corsicana, used them to pave streets before they were eventually covered by asphalt). They were also shipped and hauled regionally for major institutional and campus structures across the state.
