A working harbor, a 251-acre reservation and a 17th century church, all inside our South Shore town. 🍂
Hingham Shipyard turned a former shipbuilding site into one of the town's busiest stretches. Waterfront dining at Alma Nove, a specialty food hall with a butcher, fish market and bakery, Patriot Cinemas for a movie night, and retail shops all within easy walking distance.
World's End covers 251 acres laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same designer behind Central Park. Miles of carriage roads cross four drumlins, with Boston's skyline visible from the high points.
Old Ship Church, built in 1681, is the oldest wooden church in the U.S. still in continuous use. Its open timber frame resembles a ship's hull, and it still holds regular Sunday services.
I love the historic parts of living on the South Shore 💙
