Q: Can LISTING agents also be BUYER agents for other properties?

As real estate agents, we agree to treat all parties to the transaction impartially and fairly. That means even customers receive honesty, disclose known material defects, respond to inquiries, and comply to TREC requirements. Although, as a represented client, you receive benefits of full fiduciary duties.

Having a licensed real estate agent to buy/sell your property keeps you in compliance with TX rules and laws to “help”/“protect” you.
Buying and selling are very important decisions, and you want to make sure you have protection, knowledge, and access to the market for both sides of the deal.
