💡Moving a TV? Keep It Upright

When moving a flat-screen TV, keep it upright during transport to help prevent screen damage. Pressure, bumps, and excessive vibration can damage the panel.

If you still have the original box and foam inserts, use them for the best fit and protection. If not, use a properly sized TV moving box or protective packaging with cushioning and rigid protection for the screen. Keep the TV standing upright, secure it to prevent shifting, and never stack anything on top of it.

Packing paper is great for wrapping fragile items. For extra cushioning, towels, blankets, and socks work well, too. Wrap your dishes and decor, then use soft items to fill the empty space so nothing shifts in the box. 👕🧦📰

💡Bulky items like comforters, pillows, and off-season clothes can take up a lot of space in a box. Vacuum-seal bags compress them so they take up less room and are easier to pack and carry. Just keep the bags away from sharp corners or rough surfaces that could puncture them.

Folding a rug can create creases in the backing and put unnecessary stress on the fibers. Before moving, vacuum the rug, then roll it snugly with the pattern side facing in. Secure it at both ends with twine or moving tape to keep it from unrolling.

A rolled rug is also easier to carry, protect, and load onto the moving truck. 🚚
