Good ventilation is important, but it isn’t a substitute for radon testing. Even with good airflow, radon can still enter a home through cracks, gaps, and other openings where the house meets the ground. Since you can’t see or smell radon, testing is the only way to know what levels are actually present.

That wall stain might be old… or it might still be holding moisture. 👀

If you notice staining, a musty smell, or a suspicious spot, checking the moisture level can give you a better idea of what’s happening beneath the surface.
