Visited my hometown yesterday, which I do less often than I'd like. I wanted to show off some pretty sights and a few of my favorite locations East York has to offer.
Most people cringe when I tell them I'm from York County. They assume I'm straight out of the city and have a lower opinion of the location typically. Not saying there's absolutely anything wrong with the city. Every city has its ups and downs, and York can be quite the adventure if you take the time to view it with an open mind. However, the part I was raised in is far from city life and relatively rural with corn fields or soybean fields for miles to go. 🌽🌱
My good friend and I took her kids to Flinchbaugh's Orchards where they were so amazingly decorated for fall. 🍁 We also stopped at my favorite donut place of all time: Maple Donuts. 🍩 Took a trip into Wrightsville and stopped at the Wild Batch Bistro for some delicious coffee drinks ☕️ (that I failed to get a pic of), and then headed to Front St. for the kiddos to play at the park and us to marvel at the river bridge.
Do I ever feel homesick? Not normally since I have such an amazing support system up here in Perry County. I will always be able to admire the beauties of my hometown, however, and be forever grateful of the memories it brings, especially those that include my dad.
I know I've written quite a lengthy post, but I wanted to share with all of you a little piece of what makes Emily who she is today. I hope you enjoy the pictures. If you ever consider visiting York, feel free to reach out and ask for suggestions. And as always, if you're interested in property there, I'd love to help you find the perfect place 🏡
Last but not least!!! Baby Little is due November 9th. 👶🏼 With that being said, I do expect to be off of work for 2+ months in the upcoming future. Please don't hesitate to continue reach out with any real estate needs or questions. Just be patient with me at first while we are adjusting to life with a newborn. Even if I can't help you directly with you needs, I can make damn sure you get put in good hands for the time being. Love you all and stay safe! Happy Autumn! 🥰🍂
